He holds a BS in Electrical Systems Management.  He has served as Director of Information Systems for a major Department of Defense (DoD) test facility.  He has also served as program manager for the installation of an enterprise scale fiber optics system, including 600 miles of fiber cable and 20 major facilities. He also served as an adjunct member of the Southern Illinois University at Carbondale faculty from 1985 until he retired in 2017.After retiring, Rick volunteered with Habitat for Humanity. <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-25ece9a\"
